Arena Theatre Production staged Its first ever play called “FOURTEEN” at Vyoma Art Space, JP Nagar Bangalore, on 13th January 2022. A satirical drama about the superficial nature of the upper class and their sophisticated dinner parties.

Despite the covid restrictions, 100+ people were in attendance

The story revolves around the three characters and their endeavour to set up their daughter with the most awaited guest of the party while also scuffling to keep the guest count a propitious number of fourteen, which seems to be close to impossible with the guests dropping out at the last minute due to the blizzard, illness ,house-guests and various other things, with a pleasant or not so pleasant surprise waiting for them on the other side of all this, with the question being, ”Would that surprise make the struggle worth it?”

This was our first attempt at black box theatre, an intimate experience that allows our audience to truly feel the tension simmer, boil and erupt with the characters and we were elated with the response.
